MACHINES' FEATURES

6-Inch Trim Saw

(Draw date: June 13)

ARBOR SHAFT: Cold-rolled steel machined to ½ inch diameter bearing; 5/8 inch diameter for diamond saw blade

BEARINGS: Factory lubricated and sealed ball bearings

BLADE: 4 inches up to 6 inches; includes a ThinLine Agate Slider sintered diamond blade.

WORKPIECE SIZE: The Model 6 will cut stones up to 2" in size

BLADE FLANGES: Steel with 1⅓ inch outside diameter

BLADE SPEED: Blade runs at 1400 RPM

BLADE COOLANT DEFLECTOR: Adjustable for the height of the workpiece

DRAIN PORT: Can be found in front

SAW BOX: Made with cast aluminum with dimensions of 8½ x 11½ inch cutting deck; overall height is 8 inches.

V-BELT: Connects the motor to the saw blade

MOTOR: 1/2 HP with 110 volt 60 Hz

CB6V Variable Speed Cabbing Machine

MOTOR: The Model CB6V comes with a heavy duty 1/2 horsepower heavy duty brushless DC motor

BELT: The CB6V uses a serpentine type belt similar to what is used in automobiles, these belts don't have the associated "thump" of typical v-belts and are very quiet running. Our units have a lot of motor power, so the serpentine belt is preferred to reduce belt slippage on start up particularly when running the heavier sintered diamond wheels.

FRAME: The CB6V heavy duty framework is constructed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel so it will never rust. 304SS is a more pure stainless steel than is offered by other manufacturers and is completely non magnetic.

WHEEL SPACING: The Highland Park CB6V Cabbing machine is designed with a longer precision turned shaft that allows 1 1/2" between wheels when using 1.5" wide wheels. The most roomy 6" machine spacing available on the market! Unit includes a big spacer kit, and additional sizes of spacers are available to accommodate any type of wheel configuration.

DRAINS: There are two large drains, one on each side of the machine allowing easy evacuation of the waste water. Additionally, the drains are positions below the bottom of the tray, so the water can drain completely unlike most common drain designs.

WATER DELIVERY: The Highland Park CB6V Cabbing Machine has a drip feed water delivery system. The water feed fitting on the back of the unit accepts 6mm poly tubing and feeds both sets of valve assemblies that are located under the top of the unit. The valves are positions over each wheel and the felt wipers assist in the dispersion of the water across the face of each wheel. The valves have removable needles that can easily be removed for cleaning or for servicing the seals.

MAIN SHAFT AND BEARINGS: The CB6V Main Shaft is made from 316 Stainless Steel and is mounted on 2 heavy duty 1" bearings for smooth vibration free operation and long bearing life.

WHEELS: The CB6V comes with the following wheels: 80, 220 grit plated grinding wheels and 280, 600, 1200, 3000 grit resin polishing wheels.

PADS: The CB6V comes with one felt polish pad and one leather polish pad.

ACCESSORIES: Unit also Includes a gooseneck LED Lamp and an aluminum end plate.

The participant who wins in the first drawing will not be eligible for the second drawing.

2. Giveaway Period

Model 6: May 30 – June 12, 11:59 PM EST

Model CB6V-110: May 30 – June 26, 11:59 PM EST

Entries submitted outside these periods will not be eligible.

3. How to Enter

Complete the registration form provided. Only one registration per person is allowed.

Select the prize(s) you wish to win (you may select both).

Limit: One entry per person and per household. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.

Automated or bot entries are strictly monitored and prohibited.

4. Eligibility

Open to United States residents aged 18 or older, excluding Illinois and Rhode Island.

Only one giveaway win per participant in any 12-month period. Winners of this giveaway cannot participate in subsequent giveaways for 12 months. Moreover, winners of the past giveaways cannot enter before the 12-month period from the date of winning has passed.

5. Winner Verification & Integrity

Winners must be present in the Zoom room during the live event to claim their prize.

Highland Park Lapidary Co. reserves the right to verify a winner’s identity and household before prize distribution.

Any entries that appear fraudulent, duplicated, or in violation of these rules will be disqualified.

Winners will be contacted by email within 3 days after the live draw.

6. Winner Selection

Winners will be selected during the live Zoom event that starts at 7 PM EST on the scheduled drawing date.

Drawing will occur at any time during the event. If the selected winner is not present, the drawing will continue until a present winner is selected.

Winner selection is conducted via a randomized Wheel of Names.

7. Prize Description

Prizes: 6-Inch Trim Saw (Model 6) and CB6V Variable Speed Cabbing Machine (Model CB6V) (as indicated in the form).

Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.

8. Permissions

Winners grant Highland Park Lapidary Co. and its affiliates the right to use their photos, videos, and likeness in promotional materials, social media content, and other media worldwide.
